Hemp is organic by nature, as it requires no fertilisers, chemicals or pesticides. Shelled hemp seeds contain omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids in a beneficial ratio of 3 to 1. The seeds are very rich in nutrients, such as omega fatty acids, antioxidants, amino acids and minerals. They are rich in omega-3 alpha linolenic acid that contributes to the maintenance of normal blood cholesterol levels. The seeds are a rich source of fibre, high quality protein and minerals.
